TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa men's tennis team (7-10) returns home to host No. 47 Baylor (10-11) at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Wednesday, March 29, at 6 p.m. Then, the Golden Hurricane will welcome Wichita State (9-12) on Friday, March 31, for a home conference battle at 11 a.m.

Both matches will stream on Track.Tennis.

The Bears are coming off a 2-1 performance last week, falling 4-0 to No. 16 Wake Forest (21-6) before earning back-to-back sweeps over Prairie View A&M (1-14) and No. 50 SMU (11-10).

Two singles players and two doubles teams headline the Bears' lineups. No. 41 Finn Bass and No. 94 Tadeas Paroulek lead the way in the top two positions in singles play. In the dual match season, Bass is 2-5 overall—all against ranked opponents—while Paroulek is 9-5 overall and 3-5 against ranked players.

Paroulek and teammate Zsombor Velcz form the nation's 11th-ranked doubles team. In dual matches, they are 14-3 and 4-1 against ranked opponents in the first and second positions. Right behind them at No. 12 are teammates Bass and Juampi Mazzuchi, who are 11-9 overall and 3-4 against ranked doubles teams at the No. 1 position.

Baylor leads the all-time series at 12-3. Last year, the then-3rd ranked Bears defeated the Hurricane 4-1 in Waco.

The 9-12 Shockers are currently on a four-match losing skid. Last time out, they suffered a 6-1 loss to No. 51 UCF (6-10) and a 7-0 sweep at the hands of No. 54 South Florida (11-9) to drop to 1-7 in road matches.

Jacome Alejandro leads the way in singles action with a 12-5 record across four positions. Alex Richards and Luke Bracks are 10-7 overall in doubles play and 7-4 at Doubles No. 1.

The Shockers lead the overall series 25-20, but Tulsa has won 17 of the last 19 meetings and 13 of the last 14 at home.
