TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa dominated Manhattan Christian 111-60 on Tuesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center, scoring 111 in a game for the first time since Dec. 30, 2000 against Prairie View. With the win, Tulsa improved to 7-1 for the first time since the 2019-20 season and are a win away from head coach Eric Konkol matching the best start to a season in his career.

Tulsa secured the win with a strong first half, outscoring the visitors 61-22. The Golden Hurricane's offense was powered by 13 three-pointers and a 60-point contribution in the paint. The Thunder managed only 24 points in the paint and turned the ball over 11 times, contributing to Tulsa's commanding performance.

Miles Barnstable led Tulsa with 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and added two steals. David Green scored 14 points, recorded two blocks, and collected seven rebounds. Tylen Riley contributed 13 points, converting six of seven field goal attempts, and posted four assists. Jaylen Lawal added 12 points, hitting four 3-pointers in the game. Everyone in the book scored for the Golden Hurricane, including Cal Conroy who scored the first three points of his collegiate career.

Tulsa started the game strong, taking an early 3-2 lead after Riley's layup at 17:52. The home team extended their advantage with a series of successful inside plays, including layups by Ian Smikle and Romad Dean, contributing significantly to their 32 points in the paint. Tulsa's defense was effective, limiting Manhattan Christian to 8 field goals from 29 attempts and forcing 6 turnovers. Green led the scoring effort with a jumper at 8:55, helping Tulsa build a commanding 61-22 lead by the end of the first half.

Tulsa extended its lead with a strong performance in the second half, outscoring Manhattan Christian 50-38. Early in the half, Barnstable hit two consecutive three-pointers, pushing Tulsa's advantage to 71-29 by the 17:21 mark. Riley contributed with swift fast-break layups, while Smikle added a dunk at 13:55, energizing the home team. Despite a late three-pointer by Manhattan Christian's Dylan Gansel, Tulsa's consistent scoring and defensive stops secured a decisive 111-60 victory.
