TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa had it going early from three-point range, knocking down 18 threes to tie a school record and break the Reynolds Center record. Miles Barnstable celebrated his birthday with a monster effort, scoring 25 points with five rebounds and four steals. Tulsa has now hit 280 threes and need just nine to break the program single season record for three-pointers in a season.

Ade Popoola contributed 18 points, converting five attempts from beyond the arc. Tylen Riley added 15 points and dished out seven assists along with two steals. Romad Dean finished with nine points, all from three-point range, and collected four rebounds.

Tulsa opened the game with a strong shooting performance, highlighted by Barnstable's early 3-pointer just 59 seconds into play. The Golden Hurricane extended their lead to 8-0 with contributions from David Green and Barnstable. The 49ers managed to tie the game at 9-9 following a 3-pointer by Damoni Harrison at the 13:27 mark. However, Tulsa regained control with a series of successful outside shots, including a trio of 3-pointers by Popoola, pushing the lead to 38-18. Despite a late 3-pointer by Raúl Villar for Charlotte, Tulsa closed the first half with a 3-pointer from Jaylen Lawal, ending the half with a 41-30 advantage.

In the second half, Charlotte made a strong push, outscoring Tulsa 44-38. Charlotte's Jarne Elouna Eyenga sparked the comeback with a layup and a three-pointer, narrowing the gap. Tulsa maintained its lead with consistent scoring from the perimeter, including a three-pointer by Dean at the 12:17 mark. Riley played a pivotal role for the Golden Hurricane, securing critical points in the final moments, including a three-pointer with 24 seconds left to extend their lead. Despite Charlotte's late efforts, Tulsa held on to a narrow victory.

Tulsa hosts Legends Day, welcoming back alumni of the program, on Sunday against UTSA.
